Parade entry forms are due by 4:30pm on Thursday, November 19.
There will be the first Annual Parade Float Competition for each registered parade participant!
(In Xcel Energy’s stride for energy efficiency, each parade float is encouraged to use LED lighting.)
The prizes for the top three Parade Entries will receive an LED Innovation Wreath.
All lights featured on the Xcel Energy float and the wreaths that will be awarded for prizes are LED lights that have earned the ENERGY STAR certification. ENERGY STAR qualified lighting provides brilliant light but uses about 75% less energy than standard lighting, produces 75% less heat, and lasts up to 10 times longer.
Parade will start on Center Ave. between 8th and 11st St. in Mhd, down Broadway and ends at 6th Ave.N.
