Felix Baumgartner broke the sound barrier in a freefall that lasted over 4 minutes. The jump took place from 128,000 feet about the surface of the earth or approximately 24 miles up! Felix broke the freefall record for speed hitting a whopping 833 mph....or mach 1.24. Congrats Felix!!
